Public health alert - new Wentworthville venues and updated venues

NSW Health wishes to advise of a number of new venues in the western Sydney suburb of Wentworthville visited by a confirmed case of COVID-19. There is also updated advice for people who attended a May Hill temple and the Merrylands RSL.

Anyone who attended the following venues at the listed times is considered a casual contact who should get tested immediately and isolate until a negative result is received, and continue to monitor for symptoms and test again if any symptoms develop:

Anyone who attended the venue at the listed time is now considered a close contact and should immediately get tested and self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result:

A high-volume, drive-through COVID-19 testing clinic is open at Merrylands Park, at the corner of Burnett Street and Merrylands Road, from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.

There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. To find your nearest clinic visit COVID-19 testing clinics or contact your GP.

NSW Health urges anyone in NSW with even the mildest symptoms, such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, to come forward immediately for testing, then isolate until they receive a negative result.
