QPS projects awarded for innovating and creative initiatives

Today, Commissioner Katarina Carroll offered her congratulations to Queensland Police Service officers and staff members who were acknowledged at the Awards for Excellence presentation.

The QPS Awards for Excellence provides an opportunity to recognise and acknowledge outstanding initiatives, teams and individuals which have made a positive and significant impact on the delivery of policing services across the state.

Gold, silver, bronze and highly commended awards were presented to 12 project teams in categories of customer focus, innovation, leadership, performance and sustainability.

Commissioner Carroll congratulated both the winners and all of the finalists for their commitment to improving police practices across the state.

"The projects being recognised and awarded today are an example of QPS members developing innovative ways to address the issues faced by our community," Commissioner Carroll said.
