'Relook and Book' your holiday in WA

  • 'Relook and Book' campaign launched to encourage Western Australians to reconsider previously booked-out locations across the State
  • Discounted airfares to the north on offer
  • Funded by the State Government through Tourism WA
  • A new campaign is encouraging Western Australians to check out thousands of holiday opportunities that have become available in top destinations across the State following recent COVID-19 lockdowns in the Eastern States.

Launching on Monday, July 19, the Relook and Book campaign will run across radio, print and social media to support regions and operators with vacancies, in parts of the State including the Kimberley, Ningaloo, the South-West and Perth.

As part of the campaign, the State Government, through Tourism WA, is partnering with Webjet to offer a $100 discount to the first 3,000 flights booked on its platform.

The offer is available from Monday, July 19, until sold out, on flights from Perth to Broome, Perth to Kununurra, and Perth to Exmouth. It is also available on flights between Broome and Kununurra to encourage visitors to explore both sides of the Kimberley region.

This is in addition to the already discounted flights on the Perth routes, announced last year in a historic aviation deal with Qantas and Virgin Australia.

Western Australians have taken up the call to 'wander out yonder' over the past year, spending a record $4.8 billion on trips within WA between March 2020 and March 2021.

More information about the 'Relook and Book' campaign is available on the Tourism WA website, or to book a discount flight visit http://www.webjet.com.au

As stated by Tourism Minister David Templeman:

"We know tourism operators are still feeling the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the recent outbreaks in the Eastern States impacting bookings here in Western Australia.

"Western Australians wandered out yonder in great numbers last year and our tourism industry welcomes everyone's ongoing local support.

"I encourage anyone who has been thinking about a holiday to relook and book, with  accommodation and tour options opening up in our regional areas, such as Kununurra as well as other parts of the State including the South-West and the city.

"I also encourage you to check the availability for tours and experiences, like a walking tour through the city, a swim with humpback whales in Ninagloo, 4WD tours in the Kimberley or a food and wine tour in the South-West.

"If you've ever dreamt of enjoying a unique experience like taking in the spectacular views from a scenic flight over the Bungle Bungle Range and Lake Argyle, now is the time to book that trip or take a look at what's now available closer to home."
