Yarra Ranges is included in the Victorian Government’s return to Stage 3 restrictions from Thursday, 9 July.

This will mean that there will be only four reasons to leave your home:

  • Exercise and recreation locally, in groups of up to two people, with social distancing
  • Caregiving or seeking medical care
  • Shopping for essential supplies
  • Study or work, when you can’t do it from home

We are awaiting more information on what this will mean for Council’s services and facilities – we will provide regular updates as more information comes to hand.

It’s been a challenging few months, but we know that today’s announcements will have a particularly significant impact on our community in a number of ways.

Taking notice of your mental health and wellbeing is important for getting through this.

Make sure you reach out to friends, family and your networks – talking about how you’re doing and checking in with others is vital.
