Road reconstruction works set for Bish Road

Bish Road in Swan Hill will get a major makeover with work to reconstruct and seal the road commencing next week.

Funded through the Swan Hill Rural City Council roads program the upgrades include widening the road to 6.2 metres and sealing a 1.1km stretch of road from Karinie Street to Murrawee Road.

The works to be completed by Council are expected to take around four weeks to complete (weather permitting).

Due to the road reconstruction works Bish road will be closed to traffic from Monday, 13 February to approximately Monday, 13 March from the intersection of Karinie Street through to Murrawee road, residents of the affected area will still have access. Please be mindful that short delays to enter/exit may occur.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and urges motorists to exercise caution when driving in the area.
