Rockingham Burglary Arrest and Information Sought, WA

Rockingham Detectives have charged a 28 year old man from Waikiki as a result of their investigation into a burglary and stealing incident at a home in Rockingham on Christmas Day 2016.

Around 12:20am on 25 December 2016, two people entered a home on Rothbury Parade and it is alleged the persons took various items from the home, including three motorcycle jackets, a Trek racing bike and a drum kit which they loaded into the victims Nissan Murano. The vehicle was parked in the garage and was packed with Christmas presents, WA Police say.

The persons fled the home in the stolen Nissan Murano which has not been located at this time.

A 28 year old man has been charged with one count each of Aggravated Burglary and Commit; Stealing and Steal Motor Vehicle.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 27 January 2017.

Inquiries are continuing in relation to the identity of the second person involved and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
