Sale of land for overdue rates

Section 140

Council, at its Ordinary Meeting held in Cairns on 23 January 2019 resolved to sell the properties mentioned below to recover overdue rates and water charges in accordance with Chapter 4, Part 12, Subdivision 2 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

Cairns Regional Council hereby gives notice that unless all overdue rates, interest and associated costs owing on the lands are paid, the said lands shall be sold by public auction on Tuesday 23 July 2019 at 2.00PM in the Civic Reception Room, Ground Floor, Cairns Regional Council Chambers, 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns, Queensland.
