Quotes attributable to Detective Acting Inspector Ash Ryan, Echo Taskforce:

"This was a brutal assault which occurred in broad daylight - in full view of the members of the public. It represents a severe and unacceptable risk to the safety of our community.

"We've made it clear this year through a number of operations, warrants and arrests that it doesn't matter what link you have to OMCGs, if you're engaging in or enabling criminal activity then we will hold you accountable for it.

"Today's warrants should serve as a reminder that police are committed to identifying and arresting anyone linked to these organised crime groups, whatever role they may play in these offences."
