SofaScience: On couch with WUR scientists

In Resource SofaScience, WUR scientists tell student editors and WUR students Anna den Hartog and Laura Bergshoef about their research. But also about what drives them. Sit back, watch and listen!

Laura Bergshoef and Anna den Hartog are literally on the scientist's couch. A conscious choice, because they are not only curious about the scientific aspects of the research, but also about the personal ones:

Why did you choose this subject, what drives you as a researcher, what does the research mean for society, how important do you think that is as a scientist?

At the moment there are three episodes of SofaScience online for you to watch.

#1. Plastic in rivers

Tim van Emmerik does research on macro-plastics in rivers. Tim tells Anna why he dived into this research, what drives him & shares his favourite books.
