St. Julien Canadian Memorial tree replacement

From: Veterans Affairs Canada

Starting on October 26, the work on site is expected to last until December 2020. Public access may not be possible at times during the project. Replacing the trees will restore the integrity of the memorial and ensure a fitting tribute to the Canadians who died there.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintains the grounds at the St. Julien Canadian Memorial in Belgium on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada. It is overseeing this project and will continue to maintain the grounds after the work is complete.
