Tregony and Swanfels part of Clumber fire - bushfire

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews remain on scene at a bushfire burning in the Main Range National Park. Firefighters will continue to monitor, strengthen containment lines and patrol the area over the coming days. The fire is currently affecting the communities of Tregony, Swanfels, Freestone Valley and surrounds. This fire is no longer affecting the North Branch area. There is no threat to property at this time but smoke may affect Tregony and surrounding areas. If affected, residents should close windows and doors. Those suffering from a respiratory condition are advised to keep their medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
