Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews remain on scene at a bushfire burning in the Main Range National Park. The fire is currently affecting the communities of Tregony, North Branch, Swanfels, Freestone Valley and surroundings. Firefighters will continue to monitor and patrol the area in the coming days. There is no threat to property at this time. This fire is no longer affecting the Spicers Peak Lodge area. Smoke is affecting the surrounding area, so residents should close windows and doors, and keep respiratory medications close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
