Two charged with low range PCA after three-car crash in Bondi

Two people have charged with low range PCA after a three-car crash in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

About 12:20am (Friday 25 January 2019), emergency services were called to the intersection of Campbell Parade and Notts Avenue, Bondi, after reports of a three-car crash.

Police have been told a grey Toyota Corolla allegedly attempted to turn right into Notts Avenue from the outside lane and across the path of a black Mini Cooper.

The two cars collided, the Toyota spun and crashed into a stationary grey Honda Civic on Campbell Parade.

The Mini stopped a further 80 metres down the road.

No-one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and began an investigation into the incident.

The drivers of all three vehicles were breath tested at the scene, with the drivers of the Toyota and Mini returning a positive result.

Both drivers, a 39-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station where they underwent a breath analysis.

The man, from Newtown, allegedly returned a reading of 0.067 and the woman, from Paddington, allegedly returned a reading of 0.059.

Both were issued a Field Court Attendance notice for low-range PCA to attend court at a later date.

The three vehicles were towed away.
