Mr Andrew Mitchell CMG has been appointed His Majesty's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany in succession to Ms Jill Gallard CMG CVO who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Mitchell will take up his appointment during September 2024.
