The European Researchers' Night, which every year brings research to more than a million people in a simple and fun way, will be held during the last week of September. The University of Barcelona will participate in this event, with a new edition of the UB Science Cafés: relaxed talks in which researchers and the audience talk about a wide range of current issues, such as water management, educational models in Catalan schools or the use of big data in health.
The first session will take place on Wednesday 25: it is titled "Més enllà del sol i del vent" (Beyond the sun and the wind) and will be devoted to renewable energies. This year, the Cafés will be held on alternate Wednesdays at 6.30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Altaïr bookshop. There will be up to seven talks and, to attend, it is necessary to register in advance on the project's website.
