The term of the University Collegium is 1 March 2026 - 28 February 2030.
The University of Helsinki's 48-member University Collegium for the term 1 March 2026 - 28 February 2030 has been elected. In the Collegium, 16 members represent professors, 16 members represent other teaching and research staff as well as other staff, and 16 members represent students. Each member has a personal deputy. The student members are elected for a two-year term. In addition, The Swedish School of Social Science's representative has the right to attend and speak at collegium meetings.
The tasks of the university collegium include deciding on the number of Board members, and the term of office duration of the Board and its members, appointing members from outside the university community to the university Board, appointing the Chancellor, and confirming the university's financial statements and annual report, as well as deciding on granting a discharge from liability for Board members and the Rector.
