Applications are now open for Synergy's Community Giving Fund, with grants of up to $10,000 available.
The fund supports not-for-profits, registered charities and social enterprises delivering positive outcomes across the South West Interconnected System (SWIS) where Synergy operates, which extends from Kalbarri in the north, east to Kalgoorlie and south to Albany.
Since 2022, the grants have supported a broad range of initiatives, including programs which create social connectedness, improve mental and physical wellbeing and enhance community spaces.
In 2025, seventeen organisations across the SWIS received grants, including Earbus Foundation of Western Australia for the expansion of its Great Southern Hearing Health Program. The program has delivered outreach clinics, health promotion sessions for educators and families, and training of local community members.
Applications close on 27 July 2026.
