About The Study: This study examines increases of current alcohol use, binge drinking, and heavy drinking among pregnant women in the US from 2011 to 2024. Drinking was more common among those who were older, college educated, unmarried, employed, and those experiencing frequent mental distress or using tobacco, with the strongest link between tobacco use and binge or heavy drinking.
