The Cook Government is leading a delegation of local companies and organisations to AusBiotech 2025 to showcase the State's growing health and medical life sciences capability.
AusBiotech is Australia's premier life sciences conference and the flagship event of Australia's biggest week in biotech, bringing together the entire sector, from start-ups and research institutions through to major multinationals and investors.
This year's international conference, which started today in Melbourne and will run through to 24 October, will attract more than 1,600 delegates from across the globe to discuss the latest in life sciences innovation, build partnerships, and unlock new opportunities.
The 18-member strong Western Australian delegation, includes companies and organisations spanning medical research, biotechnology, clinical trials, and health innovation.
The government's support for the delegation forms part of its ongoing efforts to accelerate the growth of the State's life sciences industry and expand opportunities for global collaboration.
In a further boost for the sector, Perth is set to host AusMedtech 2026, Australia's leading medical technology industry gathering in May 2026.
