Full steam ahead for extra trains
We are advocating to the Victorian Government for an extra three trains per day between Maryborough and Ballarat on weekdays.
Increased frequency will make it easier for Central Goldfields residents to travel to Ballarat and Melbourne for study, work, and appointments.
Additional trains will drive the engine of social and economic change, improve social equity, and enable population growth to help achieve the state's housing targets.
We will release our 2026 State Election advocacy document in the next few weeks.
