Woman seriously injured in Little River

Police are investigating after a woman was seriously injured in Little River, 11 December.

Investigators have been told the woman came out of a Honda sedan that was travelling south on Princes Highway about 11.30am.

A 30-year-old woman from Tarneit was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car a 28-year-old man from Tarneit, stopped at the scene and has spoken with police.

The exact circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined.

The investigation is ongoing.
