Woman seriously injured in single vehicle rollover in Meander Valley region

At 10.20pm on Thursday 12 November, emergency services responded to a single vehicle roll over on Davies Road at Parkham in the Meander Valley region.

Preliminary police investigations indicate that a white 1994 Toyota Hilux utility was westbound on Davies Road when it crossed to the wrong side of the road before rolling once.

The Toyota utility was driven by a 17-year-old male from Parkham and was occupied by a 20-year-old female passenger from Weegena. As a result of the crash the 20-year-old female passenger has suffered serious injuries.

Alcohol and the occupants failing to wear seatbelts have been identified as factors in relation to the crash. Northern Crash Investigation Service is investigating.
