33 New Citizens Welcomed To Goulburn Mulwaree

On 23 April 2026, a citizenship ceremony held in Goulburn marked an important milestone for 33 people who officially became Australians.

Mayor Nina Dillon, alongside Councillor Michael Prevedello, personally handed out citizenship certificates and extended their congratulations to each recipient.

Mayor Dillon noted that it was an honour to welcome such a culturally varied group who have chosen to settle in Australia, particularly within the Goulburn Mulwaree community. She highlighted that the new citizens came from a wide range of nations, including the Philippines, Scotland, India, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Taiwan, Kiribati, Nepal, Britain, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Indonesia and Brazil.

Following the ceremony, attendees gathered for a morning tea, giving new citizens and their families an opportunity to celebrate the occasion together.
