This year, nine University of Helsinki researchers feature on the annual Highly Cited Researchers list.
The selected researchers have demonstrated significant and broad influence, with articles over the past 11 years ranking in the top 1% by citations in their respective fields.
Published annually by the American analytics company Clarivate and based on Web of Science data, the Highly Cited Researchers list focuses on researchers in the natural and social sciences.
This year's list includes five researchers primarily affiliated with the University of Helsinki, with an additional four holding secondary affiliations.
