"The advertising campaign by a number of unions attacking the Government's IR Bill is a tasteless and poor attempt at misrepresenting an important piece of legislation which will assist in saving many businesses and jobs during the recovery from the pandemic," Innes Willox, Chief Executive of the national employer association Ai Group said today.
"The Bill addresses some obvious problems in Australia's IR laws, which are impeding job creation and productivity growth. The Bill followed an extensive consultation process with industry groups and unions.
"It is important that Parliamentarians take the time to consider the practical, balanced and fair legislative changes in the Bill, and support the reforms, rather than being influenced by propaganda," Mr Willox said.
