Allens has advised Campus Living Villages (CLV), a student accommodation developer, investor and operator, on the development and financing of a major new purpose-built student accommodation project for Charles Darwin University (CDU).
The new student housing project will deliver 352 new student beds through a 14-storey student accommodation development in the Darwin CBD. The project also includes the upgrade and expansion of existing accommodation facilities at CDU's Casuarina campus, supporting the university's growing student population and expanding access to high-quality accommodation.
'We are pleased to have supported CLV on this significant project, which will deliver much-needed student accommodation and support the continued growth of higher education in the Northern Territory,' said partner Kip Fitzsimon.

It also reflects a broader trend towards the use of Public-Private Partnerships to deliver and support critical infrastructure across Australia.
