A body, believed to be that of a man reported missing from the state's Central Tablelands, has been found.
Officers from Chifley Police District made a public appeal for assistance after the 25-year-old man was reported missing last Thursday (24 June 2021).
Following extensive inquiries, the man's body was located in the Upper Turon area, shortly after 9am today (Friday 2 July 2021).
He is yet to be formally identified and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police wish to thank the public and volunteers who assisted in searching for the missing man.
