Bone located - Umina Beach

An investigation is underway after a bone was located at a beach on the state's Central Coast.

About 2.15pm today (Thursday 11 June 2020), a member of the public attended Woy Woy Police Station to make a report after locating the bone on Umina Beach, near Sydney Avenue.

Officers from Brisbane Water Police District attended the beach and established a crime scene.

The bone has been seized and will undergo forensic testing.
