Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Burnside (Margaret River) in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 13 January 2021.
Around 1.40am, a silver BMW sedan was travelling south on Caves Road. Near the intersection of Carters Road the driver lost control of the vehicle which left the road and struck a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the BMW, a 23-year-old man received fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigation officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or BMW sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, or has dash-cam vision of either, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
