Change in use of school mental health services among adolescents

JAMA Network

About The Study: Coincident with a heightened national discourse on school mental health after the 2018 Parkland, Florida, school shooting, this survey study of more than 165,000 adolescents found that school mental health service use increased in 2019 compared with 2018 and prior years. The increase was most pronounced among Black adolescents and adolescents in low-income families.
