COVID-19 update - 12 June 2020

The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the State's total number of cases to 602.

The case relates to a person who returned from overseas travel and is in hotel quarantine.

There are currently 18 active cases in the State – five are Western Australians and 13 are crew members from the livestock carrier, the Al Kuwait.

To date, 575 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 880 people presented to COVID-19 clinics – 832 were assessed and 821 were swabbed.

To date there have been 134,491 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 23,526 were from regional WA.
