Draft Central Palmerston Area Plan Stage 2 Consultation report released

The NT Planning Commission has completed Stage 2 consultation for the draft Central Palmerston Area Plan, and the Consultation Report is now available on the NT Planning Commission website www.planningcommission.nt.gov.au.

Northern Territory Planning Commission Chairman, Dr David Ritchie, thanked the community for their involvement, and said the community of Palmerston have shaped the Central Palmerston Area Plan.

"We heard feedback from the community across two stages of community consultation. The residents and businesses of Palmerston's feedback is incorporated in this plan and will now influence the future planning for Central Palmerston," said Dr David Ritchie.

"When complete, the Central Palmerston Area Plan will provide a policy framework to inform future rezoning and development decisions."

The community is now invited to provide their feedback on the proposal to include the draft Area Plan in the Planning Scheme.
