Following the call for nominations for the position of AgForce Queensland Limited Elected Representatives, which closed midday 1 August 2022, the below nominations have been successfully received.

(please note we have not announced the cattle board yet as we have one outstanding nomination to investigate)
A ballot for the General President and North Regional Director will be undertaken in accordance with the Constitution.
TrueVote has been appointed to oversee the AgForce 2022 election process.
Ballots will be distributed via email at 9:00am Tuesday 23 August 2022
Ballots close midday on Tuesday 13 September 2022
The Elected Representatives will take their positions at the next Annual General Meeting, which will be held in Mt Isa on 15 November 2022
Candidates
The following policies apply during the conduct of elections:
Candidates for Positions of Office are not permitted to "electioneer" via AgForce events (i.e. branch and regional general meetings, etc) and use AgForce printed and electronic forms of media.
Candidates in contested positions of office are not permitted to act as media representatives from the period of close of nominations until the close of ballot, and subsequent confirmation of election results. Candidates in uncontested positions, together with the CEO, are permitted to act as media spokespeople.
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee will call for supplementary nominations for the Regions with vacant positions and advertise in AgForce's Action newsletter.
Staff Involvement
Employees of AgForce Queensland are required to remain strictly separate and uninvolved throughout the entire election process. If an employee feels pressure or becomes aware of confirmed efforts by candidates to use AgForce or its resources to further an election campaign, they are to refer it to the Company Secretary or the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) immediately.
