Grievous bodily harm, Zillmere

Police are seeking community assistance to help identify a man they wish to speak to regarding an assault in Zillmere on Wednesday, August 19.

Around 12.30pm a 36-year-old man was seriously assaulted outside a pharmacy on Hanford Road.

A man (pictured), in company of two young women, assaulted the 36-year-old man and then fled the scene by bus, to a shopping centre in Chermside.

The 36-year-old man attended Prince Charles Hospital with serious facial injuries.

Detectives are seeking assistance to identify the man who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation and are urging anyone who may recognise the man or has information to contact police.
