Northern Territory Police are investigating a fatal helicopter crash that occurred in the Victoria River Region yesterday.
At 12:20pm, police received reports that a helicopter had crashed near the Western Australia border.
Yarralin and Kalkarindji Police arrived at the crash site and the 65-year-old male single occupant of the helicopter was confirmed deceased.
Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
NT Work Safe has been notified.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
