HESTA appoints new General Manager, Investment Data and Systems

HESTA today announced Feroz Jordan has joined the Operations team as the new General Manager, Investment Data and Systems.

Chief Operating Officer Stephen Reilly said the appointment would continue to build strong systems and frameworks that deliver quality, timely data to support the Fund's internal investment team.

"Robust technology and data systems underpin HESTA's continued focus on delivering strong, long-term investment performance for our members," Mr Reilly said.

"Feroz has deep knowledge of superannuation products and experience in delivering strategic information technology projects for the financial services sector.

"I'm delighted to welcome him to the team as we continue to strengthen our investment execution capability."

Mr Reilly said Mr Jordan will work in close partnership with the Fund's Investment Management team to continue to oversee the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose data framework and investment operating platform to deliver stronger investments support.

"Technology innovation and data-led decision making are core foundations of the Fund," Mr Reilly said.

"It's critical we continue to invest in developing strong data-oriented frameworks to support our Investment team with real-time insights that will enhance their ability to deliver strong, long-term returns for members."

Mr Jordan is a seasoned senior leader with over 20 years' experience in technology. He joins HESTA after eight years with SS&C Bluedoor, a wealth management platform for superannuation, where he was Senior Director – Head of Product and Technology.

Previously Mr Jordan was a Vice President with Morgan Stanley where he managed the delivery of several large-scale private wealth management technology projects.

Mr Jordan will commence his new role on 15 June 2020.
