This evening, Latrobe City Council's newly elected Councillors will be sworn in for the 2020-2024 term.

Eight of the Councillors will be present, with Cr Darren Howe to be sworn in at a later date.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor elections will be held in the coming weeks.
Like most Victorian councils, Latrobe City Council doesn't have a direct mayoral vote system and the Mayor and Deputy Mayor roles are voted on by Councillors.
The first Ordinary Council Meeting of this term will be held on Monday 7 December 2020.
