A 27-year-old Launceston man has been charged with multiple offences after allegedly evading police, stealing a vehicle and resisting arrest.
The charges include 8 x counts of stealing, 6 x counts of computer related fraud, 1 x count assault a police officer and various drug, traffic and other offences.
The offences allegedly occurred across the north and north west of Tasmania over a two-week period.
Police would like to thank members of the public who provided information that led to the man's arrest.
He will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court this afternoon.
