Long term pit stop fro McLaren driver in South Yarra

Prahran police were called to the scene of a minor car crash in South Yarra this afternoon (11 June).

It is alleged the driver of a McLaren 72OS car clipped a building on Chapel Street about 3pm while attempting to park the vehicle.

The sole occupant and driver of the car, a 51-year-old Malvern East man returned a positive preliminary breath test at the scene.

The man attended a local police station where he underwent an evidentiary breath test and blew 0.296.

The man's licence was immediately suspended and he is expected to be charged on summons for drink driving and other traffic related offences.
