Midland Detectives have charged a man after an incident that occurred about 9.20pm last night (11/08) in Midland.
Two men known to each other were outside a licensed premise on Helena Street when it will be alleged they had a physical altercation which resulted in one of the men falling backwards and hitting his head on the kerb. The incident occurred outside the tavern near the entrance to the drive through bottle shop.
The 37-year-old man received a serious head injury and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
A 29-year-old man from Beechboro has been charged with Aggravated Grievous Bodily Harm and is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today, 12 August 2022.
