The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced that she will welcome Margus Tsahkna, Estonia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Ottawa on October 20, 2023.
The ministers will explore opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries following the opening of the Embassy of Canada to Estonia, in Tallinn, in July 2023.
As Canada and Estonia are like-minded NATO Allies, the ministers will also discuss shared regional and global security challenges in the face of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.
