Missing teen Shanara

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Bendigo teenager Shanara.

The 14-year-old was last seen in Bendigo about 6.20pm on 24 April.

Police and family have concerns for her welfare as they believe she may need immediate medical attention following a recent accident.

Shanara is 164cm tall with an olive complexion, slim build and has long dark hair.

She was wearing a grey jumper, grey track suit pants and white runners.

Police believe she may have travelled to Eaglehawk.

Shanara also travels by public transport and frequents the Echuca, Bendigo, Greensborough, Hoppers Crossing and Melbourne CBD areas.

An image of Shanara has been released in the hope someone recognises her and is able to provide information on her whereabouts.

Anyone with information is urged to call Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300.
