Motorbike Rider Fined, Mooloolaba

Police are continuing to crack down on dangerous driving and riding behaviour around Mooloolaba.

At 7.46am on Saturday 11 April, officers patrolling the area stopped at a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Brisbane Road and Foote Street, when a motorbike rider performed a wheelie across the intersection in front of the marked police vehicle.

The rider was subsequently pulled over in a car park beside Alexandra Parade in Alexandra Headland.

A 21-year-old Mountain Creek man was issued a traffic infringement notice for not having proper control of his vehicle and was fined $389.
