Motorcyclist dies after Emerald collision

A man has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car in Emerald this morning.

Investigators believe the motorcyclist was travelling west on the Belgrave Gembrook Road when he collided into a vehicle turning into Olgivie Road about 9.45am.

The rider, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.

The driver of the Holden utility, a 37-year-old Narre Warren man, stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
