Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a teenage girl following a series of attempted armed robberies at a Springwood gym on 19 April.
It will be alleged between 11.50pm and midnight, two females approached multiple people inside a fitness centre on Cinderella Drive and made demands for car keys while making threats towards the victims.
Police will allege the first victim, a man exercising at the time, was approached by two females who began yelling at him to hand over his keys while attempting to search his clothing.
The 30-year-old man was able to leave the gym and was not physically injured during the incident.
A second man who came to assist after hearing the disturbance was also allegedly threatened, with the females claiming they were armed with a knife and a firearm while demanding his car keys.
The 22-year-old man also was able to leave the gym and was not physically injured during the incident.
Two other people, a 19-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man who approached the disturbance were similarly threatened and left the gym, while a fifth victim, a 23-year-old man, was allegedly approached and threatened for his car keys.
Police attended and located two females nearby, taking them into police custody.
It will be alleged car keys belonging to one of the victims were located a short distance away after being dropped when the alleged offenders attempted to leave the scene.
A 15-year-old Ormeau girl has been charged with four counts of attempted robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence and one count of robbery armed/in company/wounded/used personal violence.
She appeared at Beenleigh Childrens Court on 20 April.
A 16-year-old Tweed Heads girl was also arrested in relation to alleged attempted robbery and armed robbery offences and investigations are ongoing.

Operation Yankee Forge is a six-month, district-led, statewide initiative targeting high-harm and high-volume offences, including unlawful use of motor vehicles, unlawful entry and robbery.
