NASA to Provide Update on Orion Ahead of Powered Outbound Moon Flyby

On the second day of the 25.5-day Artemis I mission, Orion used its optical navigation camera to snap black and white photos of planet Earth.

NASA will host a news conference at 5 p.m. EST Friday, Nov. 18, from the agencys Johnson Space Center in Houston to preview Orions entry into the Moons sphere of influence and the pair of maneuvers that will propel the spacecraft into a distant retrograde lunar orbit.

NASA will provide live coverage on NASA Television, the agencyswebsite, and theNASA app.
