Neurotrauma Reports Launching Spring 2020

-Neurotrauma Reports, a new peer-reviewed open access companion to the highly regarded Journal of Neurotrauma, will launch from Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers in Spring 2020. All articles in Neurotrauma Reports will be published open access to ensure broad and rapid distribution and visibility of meaningful content.

Building on the success of Journal of Neurotrauma, which has published exceptional research and clinical papers for more than 35 years, Neurotrauma Reports will provide a dedicated open access forum for peer-reviewed articles on a broad range of topics related to both the clinical and laboratory investigation of traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. Studies that cover a limited regional scope or patient population will be considered, as will review articles. The Journal will be spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Helen M. Bramlett, PhD, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, who also serves on the Editorial Board of Journal of Neurotrauma.

"I am extremely excited and feel privileged to serve as the Inaugural Editor-in-Chief of Neurotrauma Reports," said Dr. Bramlett. "My goal for this journal is to provide the neurotrauma field with not only another avenue for publishing original basic, translational, and clinical papers but also be able to reach out to individuals who have been impacted by central nervous system injury and disease with the availability of open access papers."
