The former head of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's Technology Solutions and Services unit

Kevin Dole has been named Managing Director of the new look Bendigo Telco.

This appointment of the organisation's first ever Managing Director is part of a broader review of operations across Bendigo Telco as it positions for a third decade in business.

Board Chairman Rob Hunt announced the appointment of Mr Dole into the newly created position, which replaces the former CEO role. Mr Hunt said Kevin Dole had been acting in the position since December and was well placed to continue to lead the organisation through a period of transformation.

"Our interim Executive structure has served us well, but we needed to move to a more formalised structure to strengthen our organisation and ensure we are well positioned for ongoing success.

"I am pleased to announce that Kevin Dole has been appointed to the Managing Director role. Kevin and his executive team have developed an effective working relationship and the Board is confident they will implement a strong leadership approach throughout our team and entire business."

Mr Dole's career spans more than 30 years in the technology sector in a number of senior technical and leadership roles. Formerly the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's Head of Technology Solutions and Services, Mr Dole has extensive experience in managing complex technology businesses, organisational change management and large programs with a focus on quality service delivery.

A long-time supporter of the vision and purpose of Bendigo Telco, Mr Dole has also served on the Bendigo Telco board since 2017.

Mr Dole said his blend of leadership and technical skills means he is well placed to lead Bendigo Telco as it prepares to expand and capitalise on the opportunities available through its unique 100GIG fibre technology, and launch a suite of new products nationwide.

"I'm very excited about this next generation of Bendigo Telco, and how we can keep supporting our customers and communities. Whilst we will continue to develop and deliver great products and services, our unique strength lies in working with our customers to ensure they are positioned for success.
