New PhD Scholarships For Next Generation Of STEM Talent

A generous donation from G-Research has set up new scholarships to support PhD students to pursue quantitative research at Imperial.

The donation marks the first gift from G-Research—a leading quantitative research and technology firm—to Imperial, creating two new PhD Scholarships: the G-Research PhD Scholarship – Statistics and Machine Learning and the G-Research PhD Scholarship – Mathematics and Machine Learning.

Each merit-based scholarship will fully fund the tuition and living costs for one outstanding UK or EU student per course, and provide a stipend for travel and equipment. This kind of financial assistance allows recipients to concentrate on their studies and research without the burden of having to take part-time work.

Scholars will also have access to career development opportunities, including mentorship with a Quantitative Researcher and the option to participate in G-Research's Spring into Quantitative Finance Programme. These incentives offer valuable industry insight, networking opportunities, and an enriched PhD experience.
