Pedestrian dies after collision in Npble Park

An 85-year-old Noble Park man has died in hospital following a collision in Noble Park on 6 June.

It is believed the man was walking across the Princes Highway at a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Elonera Road and Chandler Road when he was struck by a car travelling north-west on Princes Highway about 11am.

The man sustained life-threatening-injuries and was transported to hospital but has sadly died.

The driver of the silver Mazda sedan stopped at the scene immediately after the collision.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
